Conaway Motors is available for you Saab service & repair shop near Mukilteo. On November 27, 2017, Autoweek wished the Saab 99 happy 50th birthday. The early Saab 99 model had front-wheel drive, and had the motor mounted in such a way that the clutch preceded the motor. It also featured a wraparound windshield, a unique for the time. Although it did not start with it, the Saab pioneered the turbocharged engine.

If you are a Saab fan, and would like to see classic Saabs exhibited, you might want to visit Sturgis, South Dakota where a Saab museum is being put together. The Black Hills is a tourist destination, and each year a motorcycle rally is held in the area. Saab collector Tom Donney and his wife Patti plan to exhibit their collection, which will range from the Saab 92 to the last model produced in 2012. They plan to have about 85 cars. The museum is being backed by Orio North America, a parts import company formed out of Saab Automobile parts and www.eSaabParts.com. The museum will encompass a 24,000 square foot showroom, as well as an area for restoration and storage. The Donneys hope to sprinkle in some domestic cars in addition to their Saab collection. They are taking a realistic view of the operation, recognizing that just having the showroom and the cars is only the beginning. They hope to open the museum in 2018.
